New Students and Report Cards

The latest date for new student arrivals to receive a full report card is Friday, April 22nd. If you have students who started after this date, please write a personal, social, emotional comment and a narrative comment for any subjects that you can. Many of you may be able to write about areas of success for reading, writing, and math. These comments do not have to be as long as the comments for the other students. You do not need to mark any of the standards. If any students left mid semester, please fill out a PSE comment and anything else you can add about each subject area. Please see Lynn or Dave if you have any questions.

Communication When Out Sick

Please make sure to send an email to let your supervisor, Hazel, and your team if you will be out sick. If you are requesting personal leave, you only need to contact Lynn.

Curriculum Camp Last Call for Sign Ups

Thank you to everyone who has expressed an interest to join Curriculum Camp on July 25-26, 2022.  Here is the current list of participants. Please contact Mary Kelly no later than Tuesday, May 10 to sign up.

Library Closure

The ES/MS and HS libraries will be closed for book checkout from May 16th-May 20th for the inventory to be completed. Classes will continue as normal and students may still use the space during breaks, but no books may be checked out. In order to have complete data, we are asking that all library materials be returned by May 16th. We will reopen the following week, May 23rd, for summer checkouts. Thanks so much for your support and if you have any questions, please let Babs know.

Roots and Shoots ASA - Collection for Animals

The ASA Roots & Shoots group visited Blue Cross Animal Hospital and Sanctuary last Saturday. Roots and Shoots is collecting things to help the animals at the Blue Cross. They are in need of things like towels, newspapers, old tshirts for cleaning animals, and other used clothes for cleaning animals. Also they need paint brushes to paint water bowls. There are two collection boxes set up at the Elementary Gate and outside one grade level classroom. If you have any questions, please contact Linda (glinda@aischennai.org) or Leontheen (bleontheen@aischennai.org).
