Recess Supervision
After months of research and discussion with the senior leadership team, we’ve decided that children are not in need of supervision during recess and thus we will no longer have recess supervision.
In-House Professional Development
Have you always wondered what it would be like to teach another grade or subject area? Well, now is your chance. We have put together a mandatory job swap for Monday, April 4th. Please check this schedule to see what you will be teaching on Monday. Feel free to reach out to the teacher you are replacing for the lesson plans.
Wellness Breaks
The days are long and hot. We recognize the need to step out of the class for frequent breaks. If you feel you need a wellness or mindful moment, head down to the faculty oasis at any time. Simply assign a student to be in charge of your class and take the break you need. Here are the oasis hours.
Faculty Dress Code
After receiving some significant feedback from parents, we’ve decided to formalize the dress code. Starting Monday, all faculty are expected to wear formal clothes (think black tie event) to work each day. Here is a sample of the new dress code.
