Wellness Coordinator Position Posted
If you are interested in 2017-2018 Wellness Coordinator, please take a look at the job description HERE.  Email me by January 31 with your statement of interest, intended vision for wellness at AISC, and qualifications for the position.  Final selection will be completed by the end of February.

Global Online Academy
A head’s up that Global Online Academy, one of our partner online providers, has opened applications for online teachers in the 2017/18 school year. For next year GOA is looking for teachers interested in teaching abnormal psychology, architecture, bioethics, introduction to psychology, medical problem solving and neuropsychology. With that said, GOA will accept proposals for new courses as well.  Should you be interested in applying to teach for GOA, please look at their online application and submit the same information to me no later than January 31st.  AISC vets all applications before teachers apply to GOA as we have to endorse applicants and our release time in support of new GOA teachers is limited. Selected teachers will have to commit to online learning with GOA throughout this semester as well as to attend an in person workshop in the US in late July.  Walter has taught for GOA for the past two years and is a good resource should you wish to learn more about what the experience is like.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Middle School Theatre students proudly bring you a new, exciting and spectacular adaptation of the novel by Victor Hugo.
The young man Quasimodo has been locked up in the cathedral of Notre Dame for twenty years.  When he sneaks out to look at the Festival of Fools, he is suddenly thrust into a world which he does not understand. And so begins this tale of love, courage, and comprehending the value of true inner strength.
With stunning costumes, music, lighting and a breathtaking set, this original production promises to bring to life this classic tale.
Tickets are on sale before school in the Middle and High School Entrance, and after school at Elementary School.
Tickets are 200 rupees.  Performances are on the 2nd and 3rd of February, at 5pm.  Tickets go on sale next week.
We have a hunch you’ll love it!

****Special Invite for Grade 3-5 classes; preview a few scenes of The Hunchback of Notre Dame next Friday 27th January at 10:00 - 10:30am in the FAC Theatre
