Thank you all (again) for your quick pivot this week back to virtual learning. Hopefully next week we have all four days on campus.
Upcoming Week at a Glance:
Attendance - in Powerschool 2:30 p.m. each day
HRTs - please take attendance in PowerSchool by 2:30 p.m. each day. ES attendance is reported to a number of departments in the school so it’s important that we get that information out on time. Thank you.
Informal Running Records
The window for completing the end of semester running records began this past Monday, November 15th (oops, forgot that in last week’s notes) and ends on Friday, December 4th. It’s okay if you need to extend beyond the 4th since we were late in our communication. During this F & P window, you only need to test students who are not meeting the grade level benchmark. Of course, you may assess any other students at this time. Add the student data to the BAME spreadsheet Alex shared with you at the start of the semester. Please reach out to Alex if you have any questions.
Report Cards - Reminders
Virtual Learning Report Card Guidelines: Here are the guidelines for this semester’s report card.

Fire Drill - November 25th - repeat announcement
Our first emergency drill will be conducted on Thursday, November 25th at 1:45 p.m. This will be a fire drill which we will evacuate to the soccer field. At the sound of the fire alarm, a series of short high-low notes, teachers should line up students quickly and quietly and evacuate the room, closing all doors. Teachers should take their emergency booklet and class roster as they leave the room and then lead students single file out to the soccer ending at your assigned grade level spot. Please review the emergency procedures for a fire drill prior to November 25th. You may find more detail about this specific fire drill here.
