Kitchen Update
Please label food items in the refrigerators that might belong to you or your class as the refrigerators are overflowing with different things and some items have been in there for over a month. If items remain unlabeled then they will be eventually thrown out. A big thank you to Daphne for organizing the cupboards and other materials in the kitchen!
From the EAL Department: EAL Strategy Talk, #3!
Thanks to all who have been attending the EAL Strategy Talks. We have had a great showing for our first two and I'm hoping we continue on an upward attendance climb!
Our next EAL Strategy Talk focuses on Listening Strategies. We will closely examine how the most used language skill (i.e. listening) gets sometimes neglected in instruction. In addition, attendees will leave with listening strategies that can quickly implement in class!
When: Tuesday, 25 February 2020, 7:30-8:15am
Where: Hall of Lights
As a reminder, these EAL Strategy Talks are optional to attend, but to make it a bit enticing... we offer breakfast and child care for those who need it. I hope to see you there!

Please include what time you would like to volunteer (minimum 1 hour) as well as any supplies you need. Remember, you can also explore the other booths and get some lunch while you are here! If you could let us know by Monday, February 17th, we would appreciate it.
