Progress Report
These report cards will communicate progress around our learning habits as well as one Personal/Social/Emotional (PSE) narrative comment. This comment should focus on transitions to the new grade/class/school, relationships formed, learning habits and choices being made and as much as possible use the language from the AISC Vision of a learner.
A reminder of deadlines for these as well as proofreaders can be found below. Here is the report card writing style guide for your easy access. If you would prefer to send a sample PSE narrative comment to your proofreader for helpful feedback, please do so well in advance of the deadline!

Feedback - Back to School Morning
Feedback - Back to School Morning
Thank you to the 12 teachers who completed the survey to give BTSM feedback. Overall, we had 10 people feel positive about it and 2 felt neutral. Considering this level of satisfaction, we plan to go forward with BTSM again next year. We will, however, consider a few great points made by our colleagues, such as:
Again, thank you to everyone who provided feedback. We are working hard to make sure that we consider your needs and preferences in these important decisions.- Would it be possible to do some co-planning in teams to make sure that the message to the parents come from the whole team?
- Could GTLs collaborate more intentionally to be sure that we engage parents to the same breadth and depth?
- Some colleagues really prefer not to present. Let’s support them by offering options of ways to contribute.
Faculty Meeting - Wednesday 11th
This coming Wednesday will be an All Faculty Futures Summit. It will be an opportunity to have some hands on time with AISC's Futures Plan, explore the latest updates on the Strategic Pathways, and most importantly, generate ideas about how we see AISC developing in the coming years. Held in the FAC Cafeteria, it is an opportunity to discuss our greatest opportunities and challenges alongside colleagues, with a break for refreshments in the mid afternoon. Bring a device, and your good ideas.
PGE Conversations
By now you have heard from your supervisor; PGE goals are due September 13, SAS and new teacher goals due October 8th. If you are on the PGE pathway, please coordinate a time with Hazel or Padma to meet with your supervisor before the October break. SAS and new teachers will complete this following the break. A reminder that you will need to draft two goals. One could be a team goal. We encourage that one of these goals linked to our overall ES goal of documenting student learning through the Seesaw platform.
