class at least twice before the drill. EVERY ES FACULTY member should respond
to the drill and help lockdown children from recess. See below.
- Our focus as soon as we hear
the alarm will be on ‘silent, walking, entering the closest space
quickly and efficiently’
- Dave, Calley and Keryn will
be outside with megaphones directing children
- All EY3, 4, 5, Grade 1
teachers and the CIC team must be in their classrooms at 10:45 a.m as all
downstairs classes will be the lockdown spaces
- EY3 and 4 children will all
be assembled in EY3 classes before this drill and being supervised by EY3

all children entering from playground into the three classroom spaces and

alarm
- Once all children exited from
play/recess areas then assigned teachers remain with them in absolute
silence until security gives all clear
- Grade 2 - 5 teachers, TAs and
other specialists not on duty, follow lockdown procedures wherever you
are. You are not to attempt to find your students until they return
to you after the all clear

other areas of the school when they hear the alarm, they should
immediately go into the nearest space and lock down

SLC Supervision
Below is the supervision schedule for student
led conferences on March 14th.
Master Schedule Feedback
We are seeking your input about the master schedule as we look ahead to

the day on Friday, March 8th.
Vision Project Selection Form
Upper elementary teachers have been
emailed a form to complete regarding your selection of Vision Projects. We are
really aiming to focus on skills that each teacher can bring to the
collaboration. Go to the descriptions at this link, and find the survey attached. Please make your top five
selections (and take one off the list, if you like!) by Tuesday, March 5th.
Gr 3 - Gr 5 Upper Elementary Art
Exhibition
You are all invited to the annual
"Upper Elementary Art Exhibition" which begins on Monday, March 4 and
continues through Friday, March 15, 2019. Our aspiring student artists have
worked hard on producing artwork for your enjoyment and reflection these past
six months. Please support them by viewing their work and talking to them about
it. This impressive display will be showcased at the FAC Atrium Gallery. All
are welcome!
